Fly The Great Big Sky, See The Great Big Sea

Random fact per Bruce Katz of The Brookings Institute:

Only 28 percent of the US population has a passport.

Wait. . .  the B52s weren’t giving implicit instructions and life advice?

On the other hand, Europe as a whole is 3,930,000 square miles, making it the second smallest continent behind Oceania.  Yet, it is home to 50 different countries. The United States is 3,794,083 square miles – smaller than all of Europe, but no passport is needed to travel from New York  to Helena (a trip in miles longer than the distance from Paris, France to  St Petersburg, Russia).  With Nexus and enhanced licenses, travel to Canada (3,855,103 sq. mi.) could also be passport free.  So, like the commercial says, feel free to roam about the country, too.

“Kick through continents bustin’ boundaries
Take it hip to hip rock it through the wilderness
Around the world the trip begins with a kiss”
